Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you visit Rede Ponto (redeponto.com, “the site”), how it is used and what choices you have. Rede Ponto is an informational website about washi tape crafts. You can read every guide without creating an account and without giving any personal information.
Summary
- The only personal information the site asks for is what you type into the contact form.
- The site has no analytics, no advertising, no newsletter, no comment section, no visitor accounts and no embedded third-party content.
- Reading the site and sending the contact form do not set cookies.
Contact form
When you send a message through the Contact page, the form collects four things: your name, your email address, a subject and your message. All four are required.
Where the message goes. The message is sent as an email to the site administrator’s email address, using the mail function of the site’s hosting provider. The email contains the four fields you filled in, the address of the site and the date and time it was sent. Your IP address is not included in the email.
What is stored on the website. Your message is not saved in the website’s database. Two small, temporary records are kept to make the form work and to limit abuse:
- A count of recent form submissions, kept for up to one hour. It is filed under a scrambled (salted and hashed) form of the sender’s IP address, not the address itself, and it is used only to limit how many messages can be sent from one connection.
- If a submission is rejected, for example because a field is missing, the text you typed is held for up to ten minutes so that the form can be shown again with your text still in it. It is deleted as soon as the form is displayed again.
How the message is used. It is used only to read and answer your message. It is not used for marketing, it is not added to any mailing list and it is not sold or shared, other than with the email and hosting providers that carry and store the email. The email is kept in the administrator’s mailbox for as long as it is needed to deal with your request, and it may be kept afterwards as a record of the correspondence.
Please do not put sensitive personal information in the form.
Server logs
Like almost every website, the site is stored on servers run by a hosting provider. That provider may automatically record technical details of each request, such as the IP address, the browser type, the page requested and the date and time. These logs are kept by the hosting provider for security and troubleshooting, for the period set by the provider. The site does not use them to identify or profile visitors.
Cookies and local storage
Reading the site and using the contact form do not set cookies. The few cookies and browser storage entries that can exist are described in the Cookie Policy.
What the site does not do
- No analytics. No visitor statistics or tracking service is installed.
- No advertising. No ads are shown and no advertising cookies are set.
- No newsletter. The site does not collect email addresses for mailings.
- No comments and no visitor accounts. Comments are closed, and visitors cannot register or sign in.
- No embedded third-party content. Pages do not load videos, maps, social media widgets, fonts or scripts from other companies.
If any of these services is added in the future, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated to describe it before it is switched on.
Links to other websites
A guide may occasionally link to another website. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and Rede Ponto does not control what they collect.
Your choices
You can read the whole site without giving any personal information. If you have sent a message through the contact form and would like to know what was received, have it corrected or have it deleted, send a request through the Contact page using the same email address. Depending on where you live, data protection or privacy laws may give you further rights, such as the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The guides can be enjoyed by families, but the contact form is intended for adults. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through the form, please report it through the Contact page so it can be deleted.
Changes to this policy
This policy is revised when the way the site handles information changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
